Battery Storage

You can think of an electricity storage unit or battery storage unit as an accumulator, i.e. a rechargeable battery. Here, the electrical energy is converted into chemical energy for storage. How much energy can be stored depends on the capacity, i.e. the size of the storage unit. Often, the capacity can be increased by adding additional modules.

The solar electricity generated can be stored in a battery. And it is used when little or no electricity is generated by the PV system. Thus, the morning and evening consumption peaks are balanced reducing the peaks in your electric consumption.
